Did you know that in 1776 Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson proposed a seal for the newly formed United States with this phrase on it: “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God”? Epic, right?
The seal also depicted the Biblical Exodus and the defeat of the Egyptian army in the Red Sea, but to tell you the truth… the original illustration needed some work. Here’s a new design of the same powerful scene.
