Hate to send your kids back to school? Then don’t.

I want to share a story I’ve heard over and over again.

Every year, I meet parents who started the holiday season excited to spend time together as a family, only to realize as the break progressed just how much has been stolen from them by the public school system.

By the end of Christmas break, many of these parents had made the decision to never send their kids back.

If you’ve been feeling an ache as the time draws closer to load your kids up on the bus, I get it. So do a lot of parents. More than you maybe realize.

Some parents use that unease as a jumping off point to reclaiming their time and their children’s education.

Those who have taken the leap all tell me their families are thriving in ways they didn’t think were possible. They’re closer than ever. They’re learning together, building stronger relationships, and watching their kids rediscover a love of learning that school had smothered.

John Taylor Gatto, the former New York State Teacher of the Year, once said that schools are “the most radical adventure in history” designed to separate kids from their families, not just for six or eight hours a day, but emotionally and ideologically as well.

He argued that modern schools were meant to break strong, independent families, and instead create obedient cogs who conform to the system.

We even wrote a book about it.

In The Tuttle Twins and the Education Vacation, the Tuttles enlist the help of the great John Taylor Gatto to guide Mrs. Miner on the decision to leave the public education system behind.

The system can’t nurture your kids’ unique talents or values. But you can.

And what better time than the New Year to take the leap?

Whether you’ve already made the choice to homeschool, or you’re just now starting to consider it, let me help you with tools that can make your journey easier—and way more fun.
