Fix the Money to Fix Society

If you’re in the business of noticing, you’ve likely found that no matter who is in power, the biggest things don’t ever change at all.

The cost of living keeps going up, owning a home slips further and further from the reach of the average person, student loans remain a life-sentence of debt, and our official foreign policy continues to be nothing more than a merry-go-round of perpetual conflict, spending, and intervention.

A lot of it boils down to one fundamental problem: the corruption of money.

Money, at its core, is just a medium of exchange. It’s supposed to be a tool that helps people work together and collaborate to make life better. It’s a social lubricant that facilitates human interaction—a way for me to provide value to you, and for you to give me something valuable in return.

That’s how it’s supposed to work.

But it isn’t.

What we have instead is a corrupted monetary system that winds its long slimy tentacles into every nook and cranny of everyday life, slowly spreading its poison until everything it touches becomes corrupted with its filth.

Not surprisingly, when you corrupt the money, you corrupt the society.

When the government, or more accurately, the Federal Reserve, starts printing money out of thin air, it isn’t creating more wealth; it’s debasing the value of every dollar that hard-working families have managed to save.

It’s kind of like watering down soup to make it stretch further. Sure, it looks like there’s more, but the nutritional value is diluted, and it loses its ability to nourish.

As this money-soup is thinned, people are pushed into taking on debt or making risky investments just to keep pace with inflation. Gone are the days when you could just stash your savings under the mattress and expect them to hold their value.

Now you’ve got to buy real estate, stocks, or cryptocurrencies to try and stay ahead of the next wave of money printing.

And while regular people are doing mental gymnastics to protect what little they have, those at the top—the politically connected and the wealthy elite—are the first to spend the newly created cash.

They get to enjoy the purchasing power before the rest of us feel the sting of inflation.

Put simply, printing money is a transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich

And it’s not an accident.

The system is designed this way.

Think about it. If politicians had to actually raise taxes to fund every new special interest and social program, people would see exactly how much their schemes really cost—it would never fly.

So instead, they quietly print more money and count on the average person not understanding how it all works.

(Luckily, they have the Department of Education to keep everyone so dumbed-down that they never even think to ask)

It’s an intergenerational heist, organized by a “legalized” mob of politicians and cronies who’ve figured out how to institutionalize theft without getting called out for it. They make grand promises, hand out cash, and leave your kids and grandkids to foot the bill.

But those of us who have our eyes wide-open know that if we want to fix society, we’ve got to fix the money.

That’s the overarching lesson in The Tuttle Twins and the Creature from Jekyll Island

We wrote it to help kids understand how the Federal Reserve manipulates money, why inflation happens, and how it all leads to bigger government and shrinking wealth for regular families.

We based it on G. Edward Griffin’s The Creature from Jekyll Island which tells the story of a secret meeting of politicians and banksters on a small island off the Georgia coast that marked the beginning of the end of prosperity and freedom for regular Americans.

Our version makes these complex ideas simple and engaging for kids of all ages.

We believe that kids need to know the truth about how the world around them works so that they can grow up equipped to challenge the lies, see through the generational scams, and hopefully build a better world where we are all finally free to flourish.

Speaking of liars and frauds, don’t forget to check out our March Madness-style showdown over on our social channels! You and your kids can vote for recent-history’s worst villains as they go head to head in our Spring Showdown brackets.

Who will emerge as the worst of the worst? That’s up to you!I can think of someone who presided over the creation of the Federal Reserve who deserves serious consideration.

Go vote now!
