Dear TSA. You’re the worst.

I miss a lot of things about flying before the government stepped in and turned airports into security theaters.

Things like keeping my shoes on, carrying a bottle of water, and walking straight to the gate without being molested.

But what I miss most? It’s not even the convenience. It’s the connection.

I miss walking my loved ones all the way to the gate, sitting with them as we waited for their flight to board, and then watching their plane back away from the jetway, taxiing off to wherever it was taking them. I miss standing with the crowd at the arrival gate, waiting with anticipation for the first glimpse of my person, waving excitedly as they stepped off the plane.

These weren’t just conveniences—they were moments. Real, human moments.

Moments of joy, connection, and love that government overreach stole from us under the guise of “security.”

And they didn’t just take those moments from me—they took them from my kids. My children will never know the excitement of walking hand-in-hand through the terminal, or rushing to meet someone as they step off a plane.

For them, those moments don’t even exist—they’re just stories from a time when the government didn’t dictate every part of an airport experience.

This is what the government does: it chips away at the little things, boiling us in regulations by degrees until one day we realize how miserable and disconnected they’ve made daily life.

It’s one of the reasons I care so much about the work we’re doing at the Tuttle Twins.

We can’t undo the overreach of the past and the simple joys and freedoms it has taken from us, but we can teach our kids to recognize it, question it, and fight back against it in the future.

Right now, our Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are still open.

We know the holidays are expensive (and thanks to the Federal Reserve, this year’s dollar buys less than ever). That’s why we decided to keep our best sales of the year open into December—to give more families the chance to grab these resources:

  • Black Friday Bundle: $93.88 (a $395.36 value)

Includes 14 children’s books (our main series) along with all digital companion products: 14 activity workbooks (PDF), 14 audiobooks (MP3), 14 parent guides (PDF), and Tuttle Rebuttals.

  • Black Friday MEGA Bundle: $268.88 (a $1,129.34 value)

Includes *everything* in the regular bundle plus toddler books, choose-your-own-adventure stories, guidebooks, history books with curriculum, a card game, ebooks, and even our new liberty-themed music album.

  • Cyber Monday Sale: Save big on lifetime or annual subscriptions to the Tuttle Twins Academy, with free access to the Discover by Praxis six-week course to help teens develop life and career skills.

If you haven’t already shopped the sales, click here now! If you have, thank you! Please consider forwarding this email on to someone who might want to catch these deals before they’re gone.

We can’t get the moments back that we’ve missed since the post-9/11 crackdown on our freedoms, but we can build a future where our kids might experience them again.

And to me? That’s a future worth working for.
