Charlie was a good man.

Yesterday, Charlie Kirk was murdered.

Charlie was passionate about his work and his mission. He wanted to change the world for the better, and in so many ways, he succeeded. You’ve all seen his videos, so I don’t need to tell you who he was and what he believed.

What I do want to tell you is that he was a good man.

For years, he poured himself into a mission that most people didn’t understand until they saw it up close.

He was trying to reach kids before the system swallowed them whole.

He knew what so many parents don’t want to admit: that schools and universities today are no longer places where students “learn to think.” They’ve become echo chambers—petri dishes for the woke mind virus—where activist teachers and administrators work overtime to turn kids against every good thing their parents believe.

Charlie stepped into that mess again and again and again.

He showed up on campuses where he knew he’d be shouted down, he set up tables where students lined up to mock him, and he smiled through it all.

And the thing is, that smile wasn’t fake! It came from his genuine kindness and respect for people. Even when he disagreed, he treated others with dignity. Even when he was insulted, he was patient. He never stopped believing that a young person could change if they were simply given the chance to hear another point of view.

The thing a lot of people don’t realize is that he was often the last chance those kids had.

He threw himself out there as a lifeline to young people drowning in a sea of manipulation, intolerance, and hate.

Parents send their children off to school and assume they’ll be “educated” when what really happens is indoctrination. Charlie understood that, and he tried to interrupt it—to save as many of them as he could.

And they killed him for it.

That’s hard to type. But it’s the truth.

My hope and prayer is that Charlie’s death shakes us awake. That it forces parents to realize how serious this fight really is.

If Charlie spent his life traveling the country to rescue strangers’ kids, what excuse do we have for not doing everything we can to save our own children from the death cult masquerading as “enlightenment”, “tolerance”, “education”, and “love”?

We can’t continue to outsource the most important conversations of our kids’ lives to bureaucrats and activists who despise the very principles of faith, family, and freedom.

It’s on us.

If anything, his death should light a fire under the rest of us to step up, speak up, and take back our children from a culture that wants to turn them into something terrible and unrecognizable.

Charlie Kirk was a good man.

He fought for kids who had been taught to hate him, and he did it with love, dignity, and respect.

We honor him by picking up where he left off.

It starts in our own homes.
