Are you talking to your kids about skipping college?

Back when I graduated college, having a degree was still a pretty solid ticket to a job.

But today? Not so much. (And it hasn’t even been that long!)

According to new data, young men with college degrees are now unemployed at the same rate as those who never went to college at all.

That’s a pretty big deal.

After years of lectures about the “value of education,” these young men borrowed tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands??) of dollars, sacrificed years of their lives, and did everything “right”—only to end up in the same place as those who skipped college altogether.

This translates to much more than just a career problem (although it certainly is that.) It’s indicative of a big trust problem.

The young people have been betrayed, and it's the kind of betrayal that makes them question everything they’ve ever been taught about the path to success and prosperity.

In a lot of cases, it gives them a nihilistic view of the world, and that’s super problematic, because once young people feel like nothing they do will result in a better life and future, they are ripe for cancerous ideas like socialism and communism to draw them in.

Honestly, can you blame them?

A while back, I wrote a book called Skip College because as much as I hate that I was right, I saw this trend coming. For most people, college is simply not a reliable path to success anymore.

At best, it's a risky, expensive bet.

At worst, well… I don’t think calling it an evil scheme to keep people forever hopeless and dependent on the government is going too far.

Of course Big Education knows about these stats, but they don’t care. This is exactly the kind of truth that gets swept under the rug in conventional classrooms.

Government-approved curriculum still tells kids that college is the golden path to success, that conformity is security, and that the system will take care of them—data and actual outcomes be damned.

If we want to prepare our kids for the real world—the one they’re actually inheriting, not the one we grew up in—we need to equip them with the tools to see through these lies and broken promises.

That means critical thinking, economic literacy, and the courage to ask hard questions.

Most importantly, it means an entrepreneurial mindset that allows them to be innovators, problems-solvers, and builders of their own futures—all outside the broken mainstream path.

That’s why we’ve spent the last decade building resources to help families chart their own course.

The good news is, it’s working.

More families than ever before are taking education back from the broken government leviathan.

This rising generation will consist of more homeschooled and unconventionally educated kids than any generation before.

That’s pretty amazing!

And speaking of good news… Because we’ve had such a strong response to our Back to School Sale over the last couple of weeks, that we’re extending it through the weekend.

That gives you a little more time to grab the books, parent guides, workbooks, and audiobooks that are helping hundreds of thousands of families prepare their kids to thrive in a world full of bad incentives and empty promises.

The world is changing, and thankfully a lot of parents like you are reading the signs and taking things into their own hands.

You’re putting in the hard work every day to make sure your kids don’t get left behind.

Thanks for letting us help.
