About Mike:

Mike was born in Lansing, Michigan, and escaped to Grand Rapids, Michigan, at a young age. Before joining the Navy for six years to be an Arabic Linguist, he was a middle and high school teacher. After serving on the USS Florida (a submarine) and doing a tour in Iraq serving with the Navy SEALs (Mike is NOT a SEAL, just helped them do their job), he came back to be a high school teacher.
