Delicia is originally from New Mexico and has made her home in Colorado Springs in 2021. She earned a psychology degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2015 and then embarked on a career in banking. However, her desire to make a broader impact led her to online teaching in 2019, where she found fulfillment instructing English to children in China. This experience prompted her transition to full-time online teaching.
Recognizing the significance of personal development, Delicia delved into various subjects including time management, people skills, and finances, driven by her commitment to self-improvement for both herself and her family. This passion inspired her to initiate classes to share these invaluable skills with others.
Her current mission focuses on shaping the future generation, believing that while academic education is crucial, skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and confidence-building are equally vital, if not more so.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Delicia resides with her husband and two cats, Heisenberg and Honey. Her favorite TV show is The Chosen, her favorite color yellow is yellow because is reminds her of the sunshine. A dedicated bookworm, her enthusiasm for teaching shines brightest in leadership and character development classes.
