Do you still watch the news?
I gave it up a long time ago, but it’s always surprising to me that so many people still lend credibility to the major networks.
It’s just so obvious to many of us that the media has fully transitioned from once being the watchdogs of power to becoming the state’s most loyal lapdogs.
They’re not even trying to hide it anymore!
Remember a couple of months ago when the media attacked Trump for saying he wanted to stop taxing tips? Last week, Harris proposed the exact same thing, and the same media praised her as taking a stand for the little guy!
The hypocrisy is stunning, but the media assumes we’re too stupid to notice.
On Monday night, I listened in on X where Elon Musk and Donald Trump had a two-hour conversation that covered everything from AI, to inflation, to nuclear war.
(I also think Trump said Kamala was hot, but I’m still not totally sure.)
I had no idea what to expect, but honestly? It was pretty cool!
It was a refreshing break from the usual scripted soundbites and spin.
Musk talked about how government spending and monetary policies are driving inflation—he even circled back to it a couple of times to force Trump to acknowledge that he was right.
Trump, on the other hand, talked about his desire to dismantle the Department of Education—something I just wrote about a few days ago!
Maybe he’s secretly a subscriber?! I’ll have to check my list.
You’d think a conversation like this would be headline news for its substance and the sheer number of people who tuned in (estimates now over a billion views across various platforms!) but instead, the legacy media has been doing everything they can to dismiss it as a misinformation riddled failure.
Why? Well, because it doesn’t fit the story they want to sell, of course.
This conversation was a direct challenge to their monopoly on truth, and they’re scrambling to regain control.
If you’ve read The Tuttle Twins Guide to True Conspiracies with your kids, you’re familiar with Operation Mockingbird, the CIA’s covert mission that used journalists to spread propaganda and shape public opinion to support government objectives.
The same tactics of misinformation and narrative control are being deployed against us today. The good news is, this time we’re more aware—and more equipped to fight back.
Thanks to Elon’s multi-billion dollar acquisition of Twitter, now X, we have the chance for real, unfiltered conversations about issues that matter.
This kind of dialogue was nearly impossible under the old regime of media gatekeepers, and they despise that they are losing control.
It’s exactly why it’s so important to teach our kids about entrepreneurship, freedom, and competition—the very principles that have disrupted the media’s stranglehold on information.
In The Tuttle Twins and their Spectacular Show Business, we help kids learn how entrepreneurship allows people to challenge the way things have always been done. We teach them about innovation, taking risks, and the value of freedom in the marketplace.
When we encourage kids to envision themselves as men and women who value freedom, competition, and hard work, we’re laying a foundation for them to see through the popular lies spread by the talking heads in the media, and instead seek and recognize truth.
These people hate us.
They want to destroy everything that is good, and right, and true, and the only thing that has kept them in power for so long is our indifference.
We can’t afford to be indifferent anymore.
It’s time to take serious the responsibility of raising our kids to see clearly the lies and manipulations they’re being fed every day. It’s time to teach them the power they have to shape a world that is truly free and prosperous.
We’ve spent a decade creating resources to help you in the vital work you’re doing.
I know that with parents like you using tools like ours, we’ve got what it takes to win.
