Well, that was awful.
It’s getting hard to tell if what we’re watching is political theater or some newly invented form of torture.
Last night’s presidential debate was nothing short of a spectacle.
Biden’s performance seemed to solidify what many of us have suspected for a while now—he is cognitively unwell. Even the media, usually quick to shield him, is saying it out loud, and what’s more, they couldn’t really find much to criticize Trump for.
That speaks volumes.
It’s becoming increasingly hard to ignore Biden’s struggles. His frequent gaffes, lapses in memory, and overall lack of coherence are troubling for someone in such a high-stakes position. It’s clear that something is terribly wrong.
There’s an interesting theory making the rounds about all of this. Some might call it a “conspiracy.”
They’re saying that Biden’s visible decline is being allowed, even showcased, on purpose.
The idea is that they’re going to “let” Trump win, so that the 74+ million people who voted for him last time (and if polls are correct there may be more voting for him this time) will be more accepting and compliant with the crazy things the real powers-that-be have planned for the world over the next four years.
Essentially, if people think they’ve taken their country back, they will be more likely to accept whatever comes next.
I’m not saying I necessarily believe this theory. My opinions on this are still forming, but given the history of our government and various agencies, nothing would surprise me.
We’ve seen our government do some pretty insane things to manipulate and put their sinister plans in motion before.
The United States has also gotten pretty good at manipulating elections and installing (and removing) governments around the world. Would it surprise me if those same groups did it at home?
Nope.
We even wrote a book about it last year.
The Tuttle Twins Guide to True Conspiracies covers some of the most shocking historical events that were once dismissed as conspiracy theories but turned out to be totally true.
From the CIA’s MK-Ultra mind-control experiments to the government’s secretive surveillance programs revealed by Edward Snowden, we give dozens of examples of the insane things our government has done to maintain control of what people think and do.
It’s an essential read for anyone wanting to understand the lengths that those in power will go to influence and control the populace. You can find it here.
So, what does this mean for us?
We can’t predict what the government or shadow agencies have in store for us over the next four years, but what I do know is that I’m not planning on letting them decide what kind of life my kids and I live.
There are plenty of things we can do to ensure our lives are peaceful and fulfilling, regardless of what happens in Davos or Washington, D.C.
First, we can focus on grassroots efforts and local community involvement. Get to know your neighbors, support local businesses, and participate in community projects. Not only does it strengthen our local economies, but it also builds a sense of camaraderie and support with the people who live near and around us.
One of the most important things we can do is take full responsibility for our kids’ education.
Whether that means homeschooling or supplementing their public education, it’s essential that we as parents ensure they receive a well-rounded and truthful education.
The Tuttle Twins books are a fantastic resource for teaching kids about the principles of freedom, economics, and history in a fun and engaging way—things they simply won’t learn anywhere but in the home.
Lastly, we should take control of our mental and physical well-being. Yes, we should stay informed, but we don’t have to let the news cycle consume us. We should be spending quality time with our families, pursuing hobbies, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
I can’t help but feel like we let the bad guys win when we let the terrible things that we know are happening consume our thoughts.
In uncertain times like this, it’s more important than ever to focus on what we can control. By taking proactive steps in our communities and in our homes, we can create a stable and fulfilling life for ourselves and our families.
No matter who sits in the Oval Office.
Stay strong, stay informed, and let’s keep working toward a brighter future.
